The database can be search in different ways:
► Search on food or polyphenols. This can be done in the Quick search
► Search on a polyphenol compound content in a food. This can be done in Content Search.
► Search on the content of several polyphenols in several foods. This can be done in Advanced Search.
► Search on the references taken to produce the mean content value. This can be found clicking on “References” in any polyphenol content table or in the small icon for a graph in the same table.
► Search on the number of original data taken to produce the mean content values. These data appear in any polyphenol content table as N (number of independent samples used to produce the mean content value included in the publication) and n (Number of total independent samples from all publications considered to produce the mean content value included in Phenol-Explorer)
► Search on more information on the phenolic compound. This can be found by clicking on the name of the compound.
► Exportation of data. Tables generated in the Advanced Search can be exported to Excel.
